Risottoni are risotto bitterballs. Dutch on the outside, Italian on the inside.
The Risottini originated at a dinner for former students of the hotel school. Daan was on the kitchen team for this dinner and Merijn was in the organization. As amuse-bouche, Daan served a Risottini, derived from the Italian Arancini, but smaller, smoother and crispier. Arancini are originally from Sicily. Here they made risotto and the remains of this were turned into balls the next day and breaded to prevent food waste. People were so enthusiastic about the Risottini at this dinner that Merijn thought it would be a great idea to market this product: vegetarian, good story and above all very tasty! And so it happened…
There are three flavors of Risottini: tomato & mozzarella, truffle & wild mushroom and spinach & gorgonzola.

Risottini can be fried frozen at 175°C for 4 minutes. Defrosted fry for only 2 to 3 minutes. After baking, let the Risottini rest for a minute to allow the heat to penetrate. Enjoy!

Best before see best before date if stored in the freezer at max -18 degrees. In the refrigerator, max 7 degrees, can be stored for 2 days. Do not refreeze after thawing.

Our delivery days are Monday to Saturday. Ordered before 14:00, delivered the next day. All orders to be delivered on Monday must be received before 14:00 on Friday. No orders are prepared on Saturdays, so they will be moved to Monday.

You will receive your order at the time slot you specified. The options for this are: between 08:00 – 11:00, between 12:00 – 18:00, between 09:00 – 17:00 or between 15:00 – 22:00.
Yes, of course! Our distribution partner keeps the balls nice and cold during transport.
After placing your order you will receive a Track & Trace code with updates of your order. When the driver has left, you can even follow him live!
Our distribution partner delivers our boxes in a cardboard 'outer box'. This is to organize transport as efficiently as possible. This way the drivers don't have to bend down for every box, but he can work comfortably!
